Okay everyone, here it goes! I am officially jumping on the 'blog' wagon and will hopefully be able to figure this out so we can keep in touch and let all of you in on our fun and crazy life! I would just like to send a shout out to Jenye for her knowledge & expertise in helping me get started. Thanks Jenye, you're the best! (know that I'll have you on speed dial for future needs!) I'll keep things simple, try a few photos and then we should be off and running!!
Just a brief update on our family especially for those whom we have failed to keep in contact with over the past couple of years. (To our Virginia, Medical School, and Tucson friends, our sincere apologies for loosing touch. We send our love and hello's and hope you are all doing great in whatever part of the country your adventures have taken you.)
We are living in Everett, Washington which is just north of Seattle, where Brian is in his 2nd year of his Anesthesia Residency with the U of WA. We have lived here almost one year and survived the hot summer weeks with no AC, the grey and rainy days of winter, and we're so happy for the return of the beautiful weather, blossoms, and oh no! more warm weather! It wouldn't be that bad, but guess what! I am very pregnant with baby #3 (yipee, yahoo, yipee!)
In 6 1/2 weeks (who's counting?) a new baby girl will join our family. The kids (and parents) are excited and Brooklyn can't wait to have a baby sister. She didn't really want another boy because, "we already have one and boys are stinky!" Isaac can't get enough of my large tummy and enjoys playing with my belly button and calling it "nose, nose". I'm not sure if I' m ready to be a mother of three, but I'm doing my best to maintain sanity and keep a sense of humor. We love it when Brian is home. He really lightens the load and keeps me smiling! The kids love their daddy and the highlight of our day is when he walks through the door and they run up to him with open arms yelling, "Daddy, daddy, daddy!"
We are really enjoying this beautiful area, our great ward family, and just being in the northwest. There is an open invitation to anyone wanting to venture our way. We love visitors and there are endless things for you to do here. We look forward to a better effort on our part of keeping in touch and hope you enjoy this insight to our family. With Love, The Belnap's.
Our little family of almost Five!
A day trip to Tulip Town,WA. Just an hour north of us, there are tulip farms that have huge fields of tulips. The variety of colors were amazing!
Brooklyn enjoying the beautiful flowers.
Isaac wandering in the rows of tulips doing a great job of not destroying them!
Ofcourse Isaac was thrilled to find the mud and could care less about another tulip!
